Seriously finding it hard to buy players..... any players!! Is this a glitch in the game? Any tips? Selling players is bloody hard too

yea am playing with newcastle, seriously fukin hard to get teams to sell their players, even when i bid like 10m more than what their worth. Liek i was gonna buy el hadg diouf (sp?), hes was worth 6m or near that, and i ended up bidding 12m plus to get them to accept. They then accepted and then loads of other teams stared bidding and then in the end they changed their mind and didnt sell him to anyone!! Even though he was unhappy and wanted move to a bigger club! Sorry for the rant just frustrated!

If he is unsettled, give him a bit of media treatment, he should not want to sign a contract with Newcastle any more and you will get him cheaper.

Or he may ask for a transfer and get listed.

Pick your targets well though, sometimes players just dont want to leave.

ANd like the Brummie chairman SUllivan said yesterday, you have to be quick signing people. Birmingham nearly got Bellemy and that was hijacked and he went to Celtic. The game does try to reflect this I feel.

Check the transfer list.

There are some quality players on there by request, and usually the club will sell for a reasonable price (mostly but not always below their value)
