Didn't know that..i assumed the beta patch would replace SecuRom's "fixed" exe, so i never actually tried running the game without the SecuRom fixer utility!

I guess i'll try running the game normally from now on...where's the embarrassed smiley?

The Beta Patch worked!!!!

I didnt even know it was out there!! And what really pi$$es me off now is the fact that for the last 2 weeks SecuRom have been ignoring my emails (and I know they read them because I got read receipts) when they could have just suggested this to me??

Thanks for the offer of help miles but looks like it wont be needed after all, but I would like to say that Wolfgang Hofman at secuRom has ignored my last 3 emails when all i wanted was some communication.

Adam, Chas, Miles et all thanks for your help. I am off to play the game - and next time I am in the vicinity of SecuRom I am going to get me tooled up!!
