I don't mind not being able to score a Hattrick, but when I miss a really easy shot (open goals, with a striker worth £45mil) due to him going for his hattrick it's ridiculous.

No such problems with me. Lennon scored a hat trick for me a couple of games back, and he's playing on the right wing.

It isn't. I've had Ivan Saenko score four this season already. It probably comes down to tactics too, and individual player orders.

Was seeing about 15 hat tricks a year before the patch update. Was daft.

Because its not one, not two but three goals in one game. Thats harder than both one and even two goals in one game.

Tactics aren't a problem. This isn't a thread for "I score 4 hattricks a game" - it's always been in CM and FM, it's like a cap for realism but like I say, when it deliberately misses an easy chance it's just silly, just don't give me the chance. Obviously I get hattricks, just not very often, not as often as my striker should.

Only in my first season & Adebayor has scored Hattricks in 3 consecutive matches. (Not sure this helps with the realism of the game)

Essien scored a hat-trick for me against Sunderland in the league.

Drogba and Lampard have also got hat-tricks for me in league games si i've no probs scoring them.

i rarely see more thank two goals a game but hat tricks don't bother me if a player scores one then he gets a reward if not no big deal. Im more bothered about the attack force as a whole rather than a single player.
