I might be missing the point here, but hattricks should be rare.

I see 2 or 3 a season in my games, any more than that and Id say it was unrealistic.

You are missing the point, my point is that the game deliberately misses easy shots so the player doesn't get a hattrick. If the game doesn't want to give a hattrick then don't give players easy shots to miss.

Same here. In fact, Kevin Doyle scored 4 hat-tricks in his first 4 games for me when I bought him at Newcastle. Ridiculous!

i understand wat your saying and it does happen often with me as well top class strikers missign sitters and easy one on ones that they could easily round the keeper or just lob him ect and they end up completely losing the plot its like they got pressure on them or something but its a bit stupid especially when they miss too many 1 or 2 is okay cos i can relate it to real life but missing like 10 is just dumb

Leroy Lita 3 hat-tricks this season and in League one last season an italian signing Andrea Russotto scored 5 hat-tricks. My problem is I concede them aswell ;-)
