Whats it like? Seems to be an awful lot of people complaining about FM08 so what should I do, start another game on 07 or invest in 08?

If your willing to pay the money, go for something new and get 08, if your bored of your 07 game.

It's pretty much the same game. If you're bored of 07, you'll get bored of 08 quickly.

Its a very good game, the more you read about the bugs, the more you notice them.

Seeing as you have read them all, wait until the patch comes out, get the game, then dont read the forum again until you are enjoying the game in its own right.

Makes for more enjoyable gaming.

Get 08 because I feel that everyone should try it for themselves - not read about how bad it is. I don't really notice the bugs that much.

is there much out in the way of gfx, kits, logos, skins etc?

my 07 looks pretty good and dont fancy going back to plain old default fm ;|

A lot of the old graphics (particularly logos and backgrounds) work with 08 just fine.

FMGlive has some great kits available too.

08 is really quite the fun game and despite what you might read, it does seem to have more new features than the last few incarnations.


Besides, 20 quid. Less than a night out for 8-9 months worth of entertainment. Can't go wrong.
