Ok, we all know the game is slightly annoying because its buggy. We know its slightly annoying we havent been given a date for the full patch. We know its annoying that the patches we have so far are as buggy.

But before you go on whining about how because of SI doing such a terrible job and not answering you immediately you've now caught leprosy, you car wont start, you've lost your job and your wife ran off with a tortoise next door, spare a thought for those people that dont have internet.

You see, at least we are going to get fixes. Eventually, our games will get great patches that will let the game run perfectly.

But anyone that doesnt have the internet? They are going to be stuck with what they paid £25 for, with no patch.

yeah its not as if they can't go to their local internet cafe/ask a friend/family member/buy a computer magazine and get the patch that way is it?

They might not know a patch is going to be released and just stick with the retail version. That would be horrible

also the reply was to the comment that people might not know there was a patch. not that people might not have an internet connection.

I know for a fact around here, internet cafes dont let you download things. Cos when cafes let you do that, kids have a habit of taking the entire system down every couple of days.

And... I had no idea the patch is released in magazines... assuming it is, so I'd imagine many other people would be unaware.

I was in this situation last year with 07. Fortunately, I found that playable without the patch for a long time.

Yet what would be the point without an internet connection ?

It wont know theres updates and is pointless.


I dont buy this "some people wont have internet", this is 2007 and internet is freely available to anyone who has £25 to spend on a game...

But what if they've not noticed the closing down bug, think its their tactics but still keep winning?

What if they don't play the scottish leagues and the fixture list thing isn't a problem.

What if they play as a top flight side and keep winning the league so the confidence issue won't be a problem because they haven't been promoted and the bug will have minimal impact on their board confidence.
