In my Spanish career game I've moved to Zaragoza from Rayo a few years ago and have dominated in Spain since then. My long-term ambition is to take control of the mighty Real or Barca, but it seems they have decided to accept they will never challenge Zaragoza and have adopted a new policy of accepting second-best.
For example, Barca appointed Koeman in Summer 2010 and though he was initially very successful, winning the league, UEFA Cup and coming 2nd in the Champions League the next season, he's not won anything for 3 years now, or reached the Champions League final, yet had his contract renewed this past Summer for another 2 years.
At Real their last trophy came at the end of the 2009-2010 season and their current manager was given the job in the Summer of 2012. Over 3 years later he's still in the job despite the fact they have won nothing and failed to reach the Champions League final.
I admittedly have a fairly limited knowledge of Spanish football but it seems at odds with reality that both clubs would be so patient with their managers, particularly Real who hardly ever keep the same manager for more than a season if he fails to deliver a trophy - even firing those who do on a regular basis. Yet in my game in 9 years they have had just 2 managers.
Is this evidence of clubs being a bit too patient in-game with managers that are failing to deliver silverware or a significant re-adjustment of expectations based on the relative success of my team?
