Default NOT an AI superkeeper

bartosz bialkowski - the man is a god. bought him from s'hampton for two oranges and a banana.

he is on absolute fire, making my team watford look good. conceded three goals in 14 games and he is only 20.

has anyone come across a keeper with reasonable stats who has done wonders for your team?

Bialkowski is legendary. I play him on my Oxford City game on FM07 and even in the championship he is a brick wall. And I picked him up on a free transfer paying him £400 a week wages.

i've been blessed with this in 08, especially after promotion to the prem. I haven't got anyone's stats at the mo as i'm on different save game (an experiment with an edited database) as opposed to my main one. some of the achievements speak for itself. in my first 2 prem seasons I had a guy named Zimmerman, in his very first game he kept champs man U at bay and I won 2-1, same story throughout a lot of the season, were outplayed by arsenal 3 times yet won 3-0, 3-1 and one of those 2 (can't remember which) again, due to him holding out so well, until the end where a colapse saw the team drop from 5th to 10th (still great for a predicted finish of 19th). he got ratings of 8 or even a couple of 9's fairly frequently, which in 08 with the stricter ratings system is not to be sniffed at. for both seasons he was number 1 he was unfortunate that keogh's hot form prevented him from being recognized as the team's best undisputed player (in both average rating and MOM's). and that was even with the 2nd season featuring a relegation battle. Then he was sidelined as a new hot young talent, Jack (his surname) came through, i was unsure about sticking an unfinished player in goal, the most important position, especially in place of someone who had kept the team up twice but he had developed well enough to do a job. in the end in terms of achieving ratings of 8's much more than zimmerman, who was not needed to cover the youngsters back all season. the highlight being in an epic league cup semi V liverpool, which was an amazing tie in itself, decided only in the 7th round of penalties, the amazing stat here was that while out of my 3 misses, only one was a direct save, out of their 4 misses, Jack directly saved 3 of them, having already had a great game. it didn't end there as since jack's CA was still only at 'decent prem' level, I decided to get another amazing young but fully developed keeper in the meantime to watch his back, as it happened it was Jack's turn to be sidelined as the new guy, perrin, not only got the usual collection of 8's but never got below 7 until he had to go off to the nation's cup where Jack could finally take over for the second half, where the roles were reversed. this season is still in its infancy but they're now on an equal footing, I like to run a meritocracy (like rotation but with logic) when the depth of the squad allows it, so when one gets a 6 the other takes over so they've both been having a go, the team is near the top and I recently saw Jack get a rating of 8 after a 2-0 defeat.

admitedly I don't think the goals conceded ratios will be that impressive due to the fact that I love to attack, and love goal-filled games so haven't actually got the patch (also due to a download blocking firewall at uni and pedestian internet at home), but judging my the high ratings and the amazing amount of chances my prem keepers have had to face and the consistency of their holding out, if there was a goals conceded to on-target shots faced ratio it would look amazing.
