A few versions ago there were plenty of fantastic skins available for download. It culminated with I think CM 03/04. There were an abundance of great looking skins and the community seemed much more alive. Now I'm not whinging about the lack of new skins lately, just looking for some explanation of the phenomenon. In FM 2006 there were some decent skins released - particularly the Ricey and Aurora, albeit not as many as previous versions. For FM 07 there seem to be even less skins.

Obviously I can't complain as I'm not a skin maker myself but does anyone know what happened over the last few year? Logically new versions of the game should be more customisable with improvements in both gaming and image editing technology...

Maybe the game has gotten so good, the skinners are actually playing the game instead of skinning ...

With any luck there'll be an Aurora skin for FM'07, that one was the business for FM'06.
