zoro121 - you must be doing something wrong - I've played a season as Madrid and every away match saw the correct stadium pic in the background.

you have to remember the 'in-out' problem of the game, that if you go into another match the background pic doesn't show....but if you come out of that screen and go back it works....

but for your matches the pic will show.

plus ....detail levels have to be 'all / later stages / main'....if you have details set on 'none' they dont show....from my experience.


ps - Italian stadiums work too....though I havent played an Italian season, all those in Europe have the pics in background....apart from the well known Milan issue .....

so, have another go.....

Yeah he's right. All his stadium backgrounds work really well. As he said, if you're wanting to look at a previous match you have to go out then in again for the stadium to show (not his fault at all, it's SI's :p ). The Milan issue is a problem with the fact that Inter and Milan are down as playing at two different stadia, and we only know the ID for one.

I've looked at Beefster's work thoroughly and so far as I can see it all works. :thup:

I'll give it another go and see if i can crack it. Will these clash with the background pictures i've already got? As these will be backgrounds for the matches, will my current ones still show when i click on a teams squad. Thanks for your posts boys.

Hi Beefster. I've got your pack installed and its quite good. :thup:
But it seems that there is some problems with some italian teams (besides the well-known Milan ID-problem). Stadium pics of such teams as Palermo, Torino, Catania, Siena and Messina are not showing. Do you know the reason for this?

Not sure if anyone is interested but ive put together a decent stadiums pack. Theres a mixture of other peoples packs on here as well as some of my own.

Most English teams are included as well as 31 European teams.

Engschmidt....all I can suspect is the ID's have changed from FM06 to FM07.

Major clubs are ok....although the Milan and Juventus issues are known.....Juventus are playing away from Delle Alpi for a couple of years it seems.....

Torino works as it's the same pic as Roma's.....reminds me, Roma issue was sorted in the 2nd update pack....so load that....

Siena, Messina, Catania....can't remember if their stadiums are even in the pack !.....

ALSO - remember chaps - if you've got detail-settings on 'none', the pics dont load for competitions you are not playing in....including CL and UEFA....so if you have that set as 'none' even Barca/Munich stadiums dont show....

so make sure you've got some detail level selected....

If only the FM07 editor provided ID's then we wouldn't be having these probs.....

Siena play at Artemio Franchi...ID 1260.....not in pack !

Messina at San Filippo....ID 1407614...not in pack !

Catania at Angelo Massimino...ID 1164....not in pack !

Palermo at Renzo Barbera....ID 1186...not in pack !!

Torino at Delle Alpi....ID 1209....in pack....but that stadium is being re-built....so it wont show !!

that's why they dont show in game....THEY ARE NOT IN THE BLOOMIN PACK !!!
