My Fm Genie Is The Latest One And I have real Version Of FM 2007, But When I Go To Click On A Genie Report Of A Player It Says That The Player Can Play In Every position, And Hes The Best Player. Also It Will Not Let Me View The Best Tactic For My Squad, Any Help?
If you have the patched version of 07, then it sounds like your Genie Download is at fault. Uninstall the Genie programme and download and install the latest version again. Let me know.
The position report for each player will give a positional rating for every position on the field and it is up to you to decide what is his best position.
If you go to the home screen of your team then the best tactics option is one of the options at the top right. I can see no reason that this would not work I'm afraid.
I'm new to FM Genie and still getting up to speed with it but can anyone tell me if there is a way of knowing which players would sign for your club. I'm currently playing with Stenhousemuir in the Scottish 1st Div but having a real problem of getting players to sign for me. What is it that decides whether or not a play accepts a contract ie Wages, Reputation etc. Thanks for any help.
Players will usually come to a club with equivalent or higher reputation to their current club when they are young and equivalent or slightly lower when they are older. There is nothing in the Genie programme that will tell you who will come to your team but if you set all the players you are interested in into your game shortlist and get the Asst to filter out unrealistic targets that will help.
