made new database but cant load it up! help please!

tried that but did not work, could not choose db and if i removed the other files from the archive i got an error messege...

Trigger, thanks for the help but I've created a new database and called it Nice. I copied it to the folder u said but i'm still not been given the option of loading it. I've installed the new 7.01 version of FM. Would that affect it? Thats for ur time, Alex

Hi Guys, I've done the copy database thing, and now see a pop up list thank you. BUT NOW i see two databases called default, can someone please help me. I'm dying to get going on this game but so frustrated right now. PLEASE HELP ASAP

start up your fm, then go to preferences and see if the setup wizard is clicked on if not turn it on and start a new game,then you will get the option wich database you want to use.

thanks larsv for trying to help. I do get an option box of databases but I only see two !. both say default and I cant work this out. not matter what I try i cant get my db to pop up i just get numerous default ones to choose from

then you have to check if the name of the folder (from your db) has the same name as the xml file in the folder, if not change the name of the folder exactly to the xml file name and that should do the trick.

Non of these are wright.If you run patch 7.0.1 then make changes to the database and save it as you want ,it will never work.Trust me!!!
