Ive played a few games with this patch and I'm impressed already. The 89/90 season is the first that I can remember and its great seeing that amazing Liverpool squad aswell as all the great european sides and players. A lot of work must have gone into doing this so thanks very much!!

Very good indeed. It must have taken ages to create, as with all updates, ther are a few issues but on the whole a very entertaining update.

Highly recommended

It is extremely interesting looking at all this as this is the first season I properly remember too. Aston Villa finishing 2nd.

With regard to European competitions, England already has a full quota of teams (4 in the Champions league) when the game starts, is that right?

Also, how do I get the backround pics as shown on the screenshots to work?

i have to say this is awesome work mate. big thumbs up for all the time and effort that went into it. i have just set about trying to stop liverpools dominance with my Man U team.

If you want to keep your orginal database. what i did was i moved the files in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db (only the ones you download on the patch) to another folder and just placed the files on the patch in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db

Thanks again for this patch. Although FM isnt real footy, its interesting to see how the english clubs might have fared in europe if it wasnt for the ban. I was beaten with Liverpool in the Eupopean cup final by that amazing Milan side on penalties. Have you got any other projects in the pipeline?
