I fancy having a crack at pitting my wits against the madness that is King Vlad of Hearts. What would you say is an accurate portrayal of this man(iac)?
Need suggestions for his stats:
Adaptability - Not really sure what this one means in terms of chairmanship
Ambition - Wants to make Hearts Champions League winners within 5 yrs (2 down, 3 to go!)
Controversy - Constantly in the news, mainly regarding meddling in team selection & questionable motives for owning Hearts.
Determination - Determined to kill the club?
Loyalty - Swears he won't sell the club
Pressure - Tends to get rid of threats from his club ASAP, no matter who they are
Professionalism - Hard to say, seems to run the club as a business rather than a football club
Sportsmanship - Major complaints about refs ( lot justified) & suggestions of "Old Firm" conspiracies abound. Sour grapes? Or justified criticism?
Temperament - Well I wouldn't cross him!
Buying Players - Mixed bag of good youngsters & hopeless eastern European has-beens & never-weres!
Level of Discipline - Ex-Russian Navy, speaks for itself really
Man-management - Appears to have about as much of this skill as David Brent from The Office
Mind Games - Comes into his own here!
Motivating - Seems to believe in cracking the whip rather than team-building & other soft approaches
Squad Rotation - New policy at Hearts, 4-6 changes per week, regardless of results or how the team played.
Business - A major financial power with many fingers in many pies, a success it would seem
Interference - Seems to be playing the real-life version of FM07!
Patience - Not exactly a saint! An unemployed doctor has more patience than him
Resources - Claims money is no object but club is now £28m in debt to Mr Romanov's bank UKIO
I should last roughly 2 months before I get canned but it should be a fun trip...Can any experts suggest proper scores to use for Mr Romanov? Thanks v.much, Gazza
