TBH I think most people will buy FM 08 ASAP just to get rid of this awful 07, maybe SI done this on purpose to sharp up the next FM sales up.

| Well, clearly cautious wasn't working, so why did you stick with it? Or perhaps your cautious tactic isn't very good? Just because you got it wrong doesn't mean the game is flawed.

fm is not just a game!! there are many factors in a match begining from tactics, morale, media talks, team talks, and so on.. and an example for you, remember the champions league final between man utd and munich two corners two goals and voila man utd is the champion.. this is a real football manager game and everything could happen in a match till the whistle..

I think the game is entirely realistic. This is the sort of frustration and pressure and glory that you would get in real life. I get angry when i lose and i get filled with joy when i win. It is turbulent, just like real football management. It is entirely realistic IMO. We're lucky someone released it for us.

I was a critic of the game but after a some time have come round to think its just a different challenge than the rest.
The days of having one formation that you can bring to the ai are well and truly over. there are several strategies to play the ai sucessfuly, and this is a sign of a good game that there are multiple approaches.
The last few versions have been let down by their weakness to 'super tactics' being invented that crush the ai and quickly ruin the game.
This game is hard for beginners and also hard for experienced players, and I think this is a sign of a good game. I couldnt name amny other computer games that pose any sort of mental challenge after a couple of months of playing.
My only main issue I have is that the game documentation leaves you completely alone. Without these forums there would be no hope, and I feel sorry for players who never get online and give up, which must be the majority of people playing the game.
