It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I just followed Franky's instructions saying that use the attacking one for home games and the cautious one for away games. And it seemed to work a treat. The one time when I did forget to do the above I lost away to Rotherham who were bottom of the league.

Franky I take my hat off to you sir

I have just put Liverpool out of the Carling cup with Nottingham Forest with a 1-0 home win.

I am currently in my first season.

I used your cautious tactic and with 15 mins left went to defensive.

I should have won more but for one disalowed goal and some dodgy shooting.

One thing Franky I did use a target man as I have a good one in Jim Hamilton and this worked wonders, but also using Nathan Tyson and Danny Haynes up front we out run the Liverpool defense
when I took Hamilton off after an injury.

Once again thanks dude.

stick with cautious unles your behind or vey heavy favourites - this tactic thrives of quick forwards so AJ scored a bucket load - beattie wasnt to good and it made the tactic worse when i tried him as target man

so if i were you buy another quick striker and use vaughan as back up till hes ready (he gets pretty good in a coupl seasons)

only thing i dont like bout this is the very low closing down on the MC's combined with the barrows i find that the opposition get a lot of shots of from outside the area

I don't usually use other peoples tactics but figured I would give these three a try after hitting a wall with my own tactic. They worked perfectly for the first half of the seasons, sitting top of the Premiership with Man Utd, then new yeah hit and everything went wrong.

I lost a game to Chelsea (first defeat in the league after 20 games - won 18, drew 2) and when the team moral went down - I couldn't get results. I ended up only winning another 6 games in the rest of the season (most teams I beat were 14th or below in the league) and Chelsea dominated their way to the title.

These are solid tactics though when moral is high, but I couldn't buy a win after a couple of bad results

I have noticed their are three tactics for this game, can i ask when you guys actually load the Cautios one, is it the day after your last game or do you train the 442 tactics all the time and switch to the cautious one before kickoff

The link to the dugout in the original post explains how to use the tactics, basically cautious tactic when you are playing away from home or aren't the favourite in the odds for a home game, or thats how I read it anyway.
