I doubt anyone has recreated the United specific tactic, but those formations are common and are used by lots of players and are part of the defaults too.

I would have thought that they played more like the defualt 4231 tactic, with Carrick and Scholes behind an AM trio of Giggs Rooney Ronaldo with Saha or Smith upfront?

I don't know if it will be any help but these are the general formations I play with Man Utd. I haven't spent much time on the Weegie update though to be honest so this is just a quick mock up.

Standard 4-4-1-1

Defensive 4-1-3-1-1

Attacking 4-2-3-1
