Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default crosses into box

i'm newcastle, have good defenders like taylor but we concede loads of headers from 12 yards out! check enyeama and taylor out trust me they should be dealing with most of the crosses but they don't!

Well maybe the srikers going against them are even better. Are your defenders fast? Looks like the AI is taking advantage of you and setting up forwards good in the air. Try to start your fastest defenders and push up the line. That will shut hime down.

Your defenders might be ok at heading but what about positioning and composure. Theres no point having someone 7ft6' in they just throw themselves wildly in the air.

Look for good all round stats. For instance, to get to the ball first he will also need pace. Theres a lot to consider.

Perhaps you should look at preventing crosses in the first place.

Upping the fb's closing down usually helps.
