Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training Tips

There's a lot of good, useful info on here about tactics and i'm gonna go and do some tweaking to mine tonight, but, i was wondering if anyone had any good training tips??

i just leave the training set to general all the time. how much of a disadventage is this?

what could i gain by tweaking the training?

i had one go at it a while ago but seemed to just get more injuries, though that could've been a coincidence...

Generally I set pre-season regime and when competition starts adjust accordingly to position.

This way, in pre-season I give strengh training and divide team on 5 plans:

GK
Defense
Midfield
Attack
SUB20 (Youngsters)

Pre-season I give more importance to aerobic and strenght (physic) and tactical. For all defenders I put training medium at defend and low at midfield/attack/ball control. If we´re talking about forwards I do contrary.

Example (DC´s):

aerobic + strenght (physic) = high
tactical = very high
defensive = medium/high
ball control = low
midfield = very low
attack = very low
others = low

When season starts (after friendly games) i adjust it for +/- things like:

Example (DC´s)

aerobic + strenght (physic) = medium/high
tactical = medium/high
defensive = high
ball control = medium
midfield = bit more low
attack = bit more low

Hope it helps
