I require a clarification on how I interpret closing down, which I have written below
Individual closing down:It means which area of the field an individual will close down. So if someone has a closing down of 4 he will close down in and around his penalty box, for 16 he wil close down around the opposition penalty box.
Team closing down: It is proportional to the radius of an imaginary circle around every player in the team. A team closing down of 4 means everyone will close down anyone who comes within say x metres of him.
When individual closing down is ticked the player will close down in the corresponding area of the field, and his closing down radius will depend on team closing down. For example if a player has individual closing down of 16 he will close down around the opposition penalty area everybody who has the ball within x radius(corresponding to team closing down)
When individual closing down is unticked a player will close down within a radius of x metres corresponding to team closing down wherever he is on the field (means this applies both if he is in his own penalty box or the opposition penalty box and everywhere in between)
When in opposition instruction a player is set as closing down always he is closed down wherever he is in the field by the nearest player.
[i]Let me know if these are incorrect in any way, I suspect they are
