Come on lads, if you make a 10 minute effort you can knock up the tactic for yourself. The info is given above. The only bit of the jigsaw that's missing is tempo.

IMO both versions are good tactics. Even though the away version sounds defensive, it's not. I've used it at home and won 4-0!
I think it's about mixing it up, don't take the same approach all the time, not even at home because all the games can be different. Just my opinon though...

Sorry lads, didn't have time last night. andysafc is right though, it'll only take you a bit of effort. I did basically spell it out for you. The tempo is left on the default setting in my tactic, but I do change it to quick if I am chasing the game. andysafc, what team are you and who did you play against? Anybody got any results they want to share?

I actually updated my formation a little: in my home tactic I have my 2CBs and 1CM on defensive. Just a slight update...

With Sunderland i've used a mixture of both the home and away versions and i've won 5 of the last six games, keeping a clean sheet in every game.
With Nuneaton, it's doing well although i've lost the last two games although i should have won both. You know when you create 14 shots and the opponent scores with 2 from 2. Still happy overall though. THANKS ARTEGA!

Looks like you are having some success with this tactic. Jolly good. I plan on starting a new game soon and trying it out with a different team–maybe in a lower division. Keep me posted boys, glad you are succeeding. Hopefully we'll crack this game once and for all...

Farrows = forward arrows
Barrows = backward arrows
Sarrows = side arrows
Wheel barrows = wheeled vehicle used to transport materials from point A to B.

Mentality: Global Attacking.
Passing: Both FBs direct, CBs, CMs, and WGs mixed, 2 STs short.
Forward runs: Both FBs, 1 CM, both WGs.
Closing Down: Both STs often, both WGs often, both CMs mixed, back 4 rarely.
Defensive line: Matched mentality, so pushed up.
Tackling: Hard, except 2 CBs who were medium.
Time wasting: rarely.
Creative Freedom: Back 4 very low, Both WGs high, Both CMs medium, both STs high.
Width: Matched mentality and defensive line so wide
Through Balls: Back 4 rarely, Midfield mixed
No target man or playmaker

Away (only against good to superior teams. Used home formation against Charlton etc.

4-4-2 flat. No arrows, barrows, sarrows, wheel barrows

The problem is that there are varying levels of 'often' and 'high' (they are slider bars), so where exactly is it?
