There are players who are running down the wing, cut in the box, it's a 2 and 1, they would rather shoot from a tight angle and pass to their teammate who is wide open for a tap in. how the hell do i fix this or is this just selfishness?

I've had Ribery who has the PPM "Looks for the pass rather than the shot" and he more often than not will take the tight angle shot. I think it has something to do with players deciding to shoot based off of how far they are from the byline, they never seem to consider that they are shooting from an absurd angle.
