I really wanted this guy as I never really had the chance in 07, but I have just purchased him prior to deadline day but at a severe cost
imo , 16.75M.
Can anyone say they have had him in 08 for a similar price or have been taken to the cleaners'? :eek:

I got him for £30M, mate in FM08. Alot of cash! But he wouldn't transfer for nothing less. :thdn:

I also him for around €20 million. Did amazing for me, really amazing goalkeeper. I think he is the best goalkeeper in the game within 2 years if he plays a lot. Barcelona bid €35 million for him after 1 season, which my chairman accepted. I really wasn't happy with that, but I used that money to buy Ustari and Arouca.

got him for £13.5mil in my first season, he let in quite a few goals, but that was pre-patch
