I signed him for £9 million in second season with Sunderland but he is playing aweful. What instructions do people give him to make him score he has 5 in 15 but 3 were in a match against Yeovil in the cup and 2 were in one match he hasn't scored for 11 hours help! lol.

What I always do is try an aerially dominating player and a quick one. Play someone who's good in the air with him.

Stick Palacio on Free Role and slightly more attacking than the other striker also give him a bit more C.Freedom

Cheers dude he is partnered with a good target man 5 mins after i posted he just went and scored 2 away to Liverpool to help us win 3-1 and got a 9. This ened his 11 hour goalless run. I will try playing him with free role and slightly more attacking.

I play him as a lone striker with 3 am's behind him (modric - aml, elano - amc, belluschi - amr)

Misses quite a lot of one on ones but still scores a goal per game roughly.

He ended 1st season with something like 26 goals in 28 games.

Either that or play him with a target man.

It might have just taken him a few months to settle in he just scored 5 in his last 3 matches made him more attacking Forward Runs and Run With Ball to often.

Also, try and set his long shots to often. I have him at Man Utd in my 1st season and cause Tevez is injured, he's been partnering Rooney and has been banging them in from anywhere :thup:

to be fair Palacio is never going to be someone who scores loads of goals, he's a creater. play him with a really good finisher and watch the goals come in

Thanks for the advice guys i set him up with a higher attacking mentality than my target man and he now has 10 in 10. Must have just taken him awhile to settle in.

Did great for me paired with Eddie Johnson, I didn't use any target man just played 2 up front and gave Palacio an arrow to FL
