Hi guys, just got football manager 2008 for christmas and started playing it. Are there any players that are good who are also free agents? I already have one i think is good, Molina (GK)
I tried Barthez but he didn't come and i have just gave quinton fortune a contract. I am Hearts by the way. Please post !!!

Roberto Holsen is decent. You should be able to sell him immediately for at least 1M pounds if in need of money

Colin Samuel (Sp) is decent , but do not use negative team talks .In my swansea game he bloody twisted my team and 7 of my best players rejected my new contracts and joined lower leagues , just keep the team talks good :thup:

Heres guys I signed in my Leicester game that were free, sorry all I have is last names no teams etc. Cuevas is superb for free.

Tacalfred
Giacomini
Arano
Edu
Cuevas
Cavalli

Heres some that are just cheap that I signed with Leicester (all in euros):

75k Corradini (becomes great after a few seasons)

Yahia 675k (excellent DC)
Dalmat 300k
Olsen 500k
Buonanotte 30k
Feret 575k
Kosmalski 22k
