Hi all, i am as palermo in the second season.

I placed fourth in the first season two points above roma and three above juventus! (milan,fiorentina,inter came first,second and third) and managed to win the italian cup 5-2 against inter. Got knocked out in the uefa cup in the last 16 against eventual winners Bayern Munich.

My first eleven are:

GK:MORGAN DE SANCTIS - consistent and experience (bought in january season 1 from seville 1.5mln)
DL:OMAR ESPARZA - first time i m managing him (bought from Chivas 3.5mln in season 2)
DR:LORENZO DE SILVESTRI - will develop in few months time as a wonderkid (free from Lazio)
DC:BRENO - wonderkid (bought in january season 1 from Sao Paulo 6.5mln)
DC:CHRISTIAN ZAPATA - future world class central back (bought as a replacement for legend Andrea Barzagli from Udinese in season 2 for 15mln)

MC:MAREK HAMSIK - wonderkid (bought from Napoli 7mln,real bargain in january season 1)
MC:JUAN ROMAN RIQUELME - class playmaker (free from Villareal)
MC:GULIO MIGLIACCIO - all round midfielder,awesome!

AMC:GIUSEPPE ROSSI - for me he is the new ROBERTO BAGGIO! (bought in january season 1 from villareal for 15mln)
AMC:ELANO - won the foreign player of the year in 5months time! (absolute bargain in january season 1 for 7mln plus Roberto Guana)

ST:GOD AMAURI - just only 53 goals in the first season (LEGEND,GOD AND NEW SICILIAN IDOL!)

RESERVES:

GK - FEDERICO AGLIARDI (being called up with Italian National Squad and is vice buffon)
DL - FEDERICO INGLESE (the only exciting prospect from the academy)
DR - AIMO DIANA (extremely useful)
DC - NO RESERVES YET!

MC - FABIO SIMPLICIO (could start with any serie a team,had an incredible season 1)
MC - GEROGINIO WIJNALDUM (the most promising dutch midfielder only 17years old, got on loan)
AMC - ANTONIO CASSANO (got on loan for one season with the aim of regenerating his hidden talent and could become a legend!)
AMC - MARIANO GONZALEZ (argentian right winger retained from his loan spell at porto)

ST - EDISON CAVANI (wonderkid! similar to amauri with the hope of replacing amauri in the future)

ANDREA BARZAGLI - LEGENDARY CENTRE BACK TO BARCELONA 25MLN. TRIED TO PERSUADE HIM STAY BUT HE WAS DESPERATE AND SOLD HIM AND REPLACED HIM WITH ZAPATA!

SUGGESTIONS:

I am on the 31st of august, desperately in need of a decent cantral back in order to provide competition for zapata and breno. Joao Moutinho accepted a contract offer (12mln from Sporting) but i have serious doubts if i do sign him or not because usually Milan's Andrea Pirlo gets annoyed in Season 2 and already his status is squad rotation system and i hope he will request a transfer soon! Made an oustanding signing for next season already as he is foreigner - SERGIO AGUERO 20MLN

TARGETS:

TRY TO MAINTAIN FOURTH SPOT AND CHALLENGE FOR THE TITLE, DEFEND THE ITALIAN CUP AND TRY TO QUALIFY FOR THE LAST 16 IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ALTHOUGH MY DRAW WAS BARCELONA, PORTO AND FENERBACHE! LOST 2-1 TO MILAN IN THE ITALIAN SUPER CUP.

ok dude....i played four seasons in palermo, i have some useful advice for u...

first, play agliardi, he becomes world class, italian international and rocks every important match...u need a reserve CB, u could go for Cathcart, from Man Utd, becomes very good in a few years, and Pichu Atienza, from Atletico Madrid, also a hot prospect...check also Andrea Coda, he should be very cheap and provide some competition for your defenders...

Your midfield is very strong, i would advise u to look at Francesco Bolzoni from inter, becomes a wonderkid, and Arouca to strenghten your side...try to buy cassano, he is class..
offload Mariano Gonzales asap, he is rubbish and whines...

Amauri is a legend, he will rock for about 3-4 seasons, but will stop then...also, he will get interest from many big clubs in Europe, and might become unsettled....Aguero will be a great replacement, but if u look to a stronger and more physical striker get someone like zigic, from valencia, but look also at N´gog from PSG, Benzema and Fred from Lyon, all good replacement for a target man... if they don´t come, bianchi from Man city is a beast...
keep Cavani, he turns out good, but in my game not good enough to start as a lone striker...

the so called prospect Francesco Inglese is rubbish, dont put your faith on him...and keep an open eye for regens, many world class players will come through in the next few years, so snap them, specially in brazil and argentina...

And you shouldn´t have sold bresciano, he has very good stats until he is 35 years old, scores a lot from long shots and can play AML AMC and AMR....
