I've seen this a lot with my Kettering game. But I've never seen it when I am playing with Leicester. I think it must be directly related to the ability of the keeper. It definitely happens a lot more in LLM games

I'd never seen the goalkeeper errors before I started my LLM games and I never had any with Leicester. Now I get em all the time. So its official Rab Douglas is a decent keeper then.

I just lost a game 5-2 and for each of their goals, one of my players made a stupid mistake.

In fact, quite regardless of how fcking stupid my players were for the goals (and their first goal came about when my striker passed the ball 80 backwards to my keeper who stood stock still and waited for it while the opposing strikers ran onto it), the number of inconceivably stupid backpasses throughout the game by my team only strongly suggests to me that something was up.

Particularly since we had a goal disallowed after 19 seconds that was even less offside than the decisions that usually go against us and (as if to top the whole thing off) their keeper hhad one of those games where every other sentence had his name and the words "brilliant" and "save" in them.

I had a match on FM that was exactly like a RL match I was in.

Defender gets the ball, tries to pass back to the keeper but doesn't look to see where the keeper is.

Keeper chases ball...ball goes in net....quality own goal.

I was the keeper when it happened to me IRL

I saw a one per month during my first season of FM 2006 in the bottom of the Scottish Third Division. Now that I'm bouncing between the First & Second Divisions, I see one per season. At least they correctly get less frequent at higher levels of play.
