exactly what i thought. IF i said they were Basley Town instead of Bashlet, that still wouldn't reall help.

Ahh good old Bashley, Based in Hampshire, If I remember that is where a certain ex Sunderland and Southampton and current Villa forward started his career. I also believe they went bust at one point, They now play in Ryman league Div 1.

they weren't known as Bashley Town though.

I've also scored a few of those and conceded a few in that fashion. It happened in a playoff once and I lost 1-0

I've just played the gold demo for half a season with Newport (in ECS) and I've had exactly the same thing you have. About 40-50% of all the goals scored in my game were from the keeper messing up back-passes and clearances and getting tackled.

Sounds like it's been fixed for the main version though.

I've seen a fair few of these. I put it down to a combination of quick strikers with instructions to close down, and having a muppet goalkeeper.

I've seen a fair bit of these. I seem to have scored as many "goalkeepeer screw-ups" as I've conceded. They were pretty common back in the Scottish Third Division... maybe 4-6 total per season. I'm lucky to see one per season now that I'm in the Scottish First Division.

So at least it's accurately a lower league thing, even if it still seems too frequent.

Oh, and I've seen strikers steal the ball, have an empty net, and *still* miss. Glorious.
