I always start off as the nationality of my starting club, that's just my way of doing it. Until they recognise Geordieland as a republic, I'll always do this.

I always pick the nationality of the league I start in. I might pick my own if you can set your second and third nationality as well.

well it's nice to know that we're a thoughtful lot and to keep the natives quiet pretend to be one of them while we're over there stealing their jobs.
nobody likes english people abroad anyway - when you've invaded and ruled most of the world they tend to hold it against you

I always go for Irish, I have no clue if it makes any difference in the game, I assume English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh are all treated pretty much the same by the game.
