I'm still on 6.02 (until I get home tonight and install 6.03) and the penalties appear to be out of hand. I think it's an FM 2006 thing: penalties seem to come in waves either for or against, with periods of relative calm in between.

I installed this, and due to work commitments, have only tonight managed to complete my season. I somehow dragged Eastleigh to 3rd in the Conference South, and even more miraculusly, won the play-offs. However, I have not been promoted. Neither have Dorchester who won the league. Or Hednesford who won the Conference North Play-Offs or Stafford Rangers who won the Conference North! No teams were relegated from the Conference National. However teams have been promoted to and relegated from the two regional leagues! All promotions and relegations (conf-L2/L2-L1/L1-Champ/Champ-Prem) elsewhere have gone through ok. At first I thought it might have something to do with Easteighs ground. But why then were Dorchester not promoted? I think this is bugged! Anyone else experianced this one?

P.S: Season 05/06 had successful promotions and relegations and was conducted under patch 6.0.2 in whcih the game was created.

I've just installed patch 6.0.3 and there is now apparently no transfer window in England. It's mid November and clubs are still buying and selling. My players shirt numbers also change every game. I had neither of these problems when I was still playing 6.0.1.

The above was also posted in General Questions but hasn't seen much action.

Clubs in the Football League? Because the transfer window doesn't apply to conf n/s clubs.

I'm beginning to think that they've tweaked the match engine. My tactics suddenly lost their efficacy. Fortunately I've now made some tweaks of my own, but still...
