Start another game (LLM please) and pick Rieti. That will be a chalenge... They are the worse team in the lower division at Italy.

My personal advice
Just shut it. You've been here five minutes and you're acting like you own the place. Don't tell this bloke what to do. He can make up his own mind.

Steve - Interesting observations. I've only had a couple of players get co-ownership offers, and I've had a few decent ones, so I don't really know what to make of it. Certainly AI-AI co-ownership transactions don't all result in zero bids in my game. How does the AI handle it in yours?

Regarding regens - my scouts have found a few decent players, but like I said, only a couple that have been "marked" by co-own bids. I'm not sure what a reasonable number of decent regens is either. I think Church's idea of posting it up in the bugs forum to see if SI can check it out and make sure it's within their spec would be good.

Thanks, I might well post it though I think we might have had the same thing with regens in FM5. In my Alto Adige game I thought there seemed to be too many good youngsters around too, but did not follow it up.

With the co-ownership, I will give you an example. One player (who was at the club when the game started) continually attracted bids from clubs, which went up and up until I took one for £4 million from Inter. They pay that for 50% and then don't follow-up a year later, so I keep the player and pocket the money.

Anyway, I've decided to try my luck elsewhere, going to start with Vikingur in Iceland.

My one major co-ownership target I bought as a 19yo, and paid my record fee, so I knew he was good. Inter bid the day after I bought, whcih I rejected. I've upped his fee, and got lots of bids in the next window - all 2 year deals interestingly. I got to the point where I said 3 mill would be enough and indicated so. Now I keep getting 2.9 million bids and the teams drop their interest when I round it up to 3 million. I find that bizarre.

Do the AI-AI co-ownership transfers all have zero offers in your game? I've seen most go through where one of the teams has actually put a realistic bid in.

They have always been zero bids on my players, but I have seen news items involving other teams where the buying club has made a winning bid.

We could make a connection between the number of good regens in your game (are they all Italian, by the way??) and BG's observations about the number of Italian people around the world in his game.

Since BG's game is much farther in the future, the high number of italian blokes around could be a consequence of their high PA compared to other nationalities players.

Interesting observations, Steve. Especially that co-ownership bug (as it is very strange that clubs invest like that and then don't follow up), could hamper playing in Italy.

Are any other poofs playing in Italy experiencing this?

In my Italian game my scout recomends lots of 18 to 20 yo players.

Nothing that shows as an unbalance anyway...

Would you like to tell us what you did mean then?

Youu've jumped all over this guy with the and told him what he should do and what team to play. What else could that mean? I'm intrigued.
