In my rush to play this game(just got 2006), I made a whoopsie. I forgot to turn off attribute masking. I'm half way through my first season, and I'm doing fairly well, for the first time ever and I've been playing FM since CM3. Is there any way to turn it off at this stage?
Sorry - I think I got that arseways. I can see players attributes, and I want it so I can't see them. Someone here must have forgotten it once, and they might know if it's possible to change after the initial setup.
Like I said, I seem to be doing well for once, Galway Utd. Irish Division 1. I've gotten to the point where I actually know some of their names, so it's too late to turn back.
The problem is, that none of us ever started with attribute masking turned off. Attribute masking is enabled in the default setting when loading the game the first time, and there is no reason why anybody would have changed it.
So, that's the reason why we just have no idea if it's possible (and if so, how) to turn attribute masking on during a game. I fear you might have to start a new game if you want to play with the feature enabled.
If you enjoy your game though, keep on playing it. There's no need to quit the savegame you enjoy just so you can jump in here. We don't run away from you ;-)
I don't think there is any way of turning attribute masking on or off once the game has started. Looks like you'll have to start over. Think of it as a lesson to remember!
