I'd happily played myself into the fourth round of the league cup and got chelsea! Great i thought, a cash injection.
I on the match day i look to see that they are playing a bunch of 16 year olds with stats ranging from 1 to 5. I thrash chelsea 4-0, but it didnt really feel like i'd won it fair and square and left me a bit annoyed. IRL surely they would have at least put out a half-decent team?

Not at all, they must have thouught you would be real easy. And its not as if they think about that cup anyway, as its not considered that important.

They don't need to win and obviously saw it as a way to give their youth experience.

Hmmm, but i was top of L1 and on a 10 game unbeaten run, i mean, ok, they should put out youth, but have some decent playetrs playin,g or at least on the bench!

Maybe they WANT to be knocked out? Cup games make their players tired when they need to win the Premiership (Y)

The Portupoof knows wich cups are important and thus wich cups suck arse. For Chelski the League Cup sucks, they just want the CL and EPL titles, the FA Cup could be seen as a bonus.
