In Franks inimitable wisdom I was given the unenviable task of looking after the fortunes of the great Eastbourne Borough. With a transfer fund of a whopping great £0 and a wage budget that would make a Taiwanese sweat shop owner laugh with glee I set forth with high hopes…
… and with good reason. I sent my scouts off to hunt for suitable freebies, signed an SC, DM and a promising young keeper as well as a rubbish defender who rarely played before breaking he’s leg. The season got underway and after a shaky start I found my form ending up in a playoff place. I beat Dorchester 2-1 in the final to win promotion to the Conference National.
My cup success was rubbish and not worth writing about!

After the unexpected successes of last season I didn’t hold out much hope for any great achievements in my new league. My transfer budget of £2,000 didn’t stretch far but my scouts found me a fantastic little French defender who I signed from Northampton on a free. That signing aside the start of my season was abysmal and I found myself in 18th place at Christmas, I decided drastic action was required and when Watford came in with a ludicrously high offer for my star Striker I sold him.
With the funds I gained I basically rebuilt my team with everyone my scouts had recommended previously but I couldn’t afford. In the end I managed to scrap the last play off place on the last game of the season (The single most exciting match in my entire FM/CM history), I made my way through to the final and beat Halifax 2-0.
Again my cup runs were shorter that Stephen Hawkins daily jog.
