Right then hopefully this will be the correct procedure.
After my first season promotion had been secured, and I was hoping that it was not going to prove to be too early. I made a couple of decent signings, which were needed as my American international loanee had returned to his club and my experienced goalkeeper had retired to be my right hand man. Funds were never going to be a problem as I sold two of the most promising youngsters in LL football for an excellent fee plus future incentives. Things were progressing the right way for the mighty blues.
However, I was finding it hard to sign players. The Finnish striker who had spent the season on loan last year refused to return to the club, despite his love for the club and myself. I did pull off one of the coups of the post-season by signing one of the hottest prospects in Argentinean football, but try as I might I could not get a WP for the two El Salvadorean players I suspected would become superstars.
Two games into the season and things have started off steadily with a win and a very scrappy draw. The board don't harbour much ambition so my job is safe...for now.
I see a problem, how did the aforementioned Finnish, American, Agentinian and El Salvadorian players get found by the sort of scouting we would allow. That is a pretty wide sort of SWYCT (scout where you can tour) or SYB (scout your borders).
The really lucky thing is that I was offered a friendly with an Argentinian team and this lad happened to play, and I have one player who's second nationality is El Salvadorean so I maybe stretched the ruling but he was his fav. personnel. As for the finnish player, he was loaned from a Premier league team, as was the American. Did I do ok?
How did you get your scout to have look at the El Salvador players, was it that you had a look through the El Salvador international team?
In all my years of playing LLM I have never had a foreign team ask me for a friendly unless I had made my way uo the divisions. Lucky indeed. I take it this young Argentinian looked good in the game against you so you scouted him to find out all about him.
And my scouts have never found Premiership players willing to join me on loan. Again, lucky indeed.
You know what, Steve? I reckon you're trying to rip the pĂ*sh out of us poor, dumb LLaMas.
You're from a University. You mustn't be a stupid fellow but you're showing the posting prowess of a dunce, the reading ability of a pre-school kid and making more "mistakes" than a US Republican Government.
Do you think we're stupid?
You were "really lucky" enough to pick up a friendly with an Argentinian team...please.
Either adopt the LLM style of play or don't post here.
Can I clarify something? Do LLaMa regulations state I can only sign a player who has been reccommended to me by scouts? Or can I take agamble on someone from a the divisions above me and hope that they come and join me? I am not doing any of this on purpose and accept that I am in the wrong.
