Even so, I hardly think the first thing a conference club would do with 500k would be scout central Europe.

Chairman: "We just sold our best player for 500k."
Manager: "We can buy new players. Let's pay someone to go to central Europe full time and watch football and then possibly we'll convince a Hungarian to move all the way over here and he'll be a star. A god damn big star."
Chairman: "OK."

Unlikely. They might increase the number of scouts around England in the hope of spending some of their cash but sending some dude to central Europe, I doubt it.

boudewijn has made a valid point.

Burton aren't going to send a scout to central Europe the second they have a couple of quid in their pocket, they're going to try to sign the local players their scout liked but they couldn't afford.

oya, that is a hell of an acquisition are you “certain” of that

So apart from starting in the wrong league, selling players for unrealistic amounts, the scouting, the “alleged" use of the GPG, <STRIKE>what have the Romans (sorry wrong thread)</STRIKE> it’s a damn fine game.
