I don't care what anyone says, coz when it comes to cups and putting money in the bank, they rock!!

UPDATE FEB 2006

I got so carried away that I missed updating at xmas so I'll give a quick update now. Having concetrating soley on performances and not getting thumped I somehow missed our slow but worrying rise to the top of the table. At present, we're 3 points clear with a game in hand. I'm trying not to get too excited coz we have a lot of games left and a few draining cup matches which always seem to go to a reply... grrr!

So at present it's

Pos 1 Pld 26 W 14 D 9 l 3 For 43 Ag 19 GD +24 Pts 51

Total Players In 9 for 2K + 3 on Loan
Total Players Out 10 for 15K

Next update will be at the end of the season.

After reading this you've inspired me to re-load my long forgotten Stafford Rangers game. I lost interest after winning the conference north and finishing runner-up in the FA Vase then in my second season i found myself stuck to the foot of the table with 2 points from my first 11 games. I am going to give it another go and see if i can avoid the drop or (more likely) bounce straight back up. Good luck with your season hope you manage promotion.

UPDATE JULY 2006

Since my last update we got the promotion that was blatantly on the cards. We were solid and lost once since the turn of year. Needless to say that there have been a few shuffles in the team with 4 in and 6 out. Turning pro meant many long running contract talks as some people wanted a 100% pay rise! So here's how the season finished...

Fa trophy: 4th Round
FA Cup: 1st Round

Chelski won the Premiership

and England won the world cup!!

Right, I got some friendly's and some loans to sort out....
