Have a read of the LLM History thread, Bigglesworth, and save us all a lot of pain.

Spain - Win your league? You might not get promoted...
| If you start the Swedish league in 2005, it's easier to get promoted, as they create 2 14 team divisions out of nothing - you can get promoted if you finish 5th out of 12.
However, from 2006 onwards, you have to win your regional second division, then win a playoff.

So I found out. My team of no-hopers couldn't get into the playoff spot in the first season... then I find out you have to win the division to go up after that. |

I found Northern Ireland and Italy impossible, as well as Indonesia which was also incredibly boring. The English leagues I think are pretty easy in comparison.

| Never had much trouble to get promoted in Northern Ireland, but I am starting my 5th consecutive Conference season |

I've started in the conference south and in the Brazilian 3rd. It was MUCH harder to get out of Brazil's basement. Even if you dominate your division, there's a whole load of teams you've never seen before and never played against trying to stop you in a complex playoff system.
Brazil was my favourite savegame of all time, I think.
