I personally prefer the English Leagues because, as you know, my preference is for promotion and there's five promotions available before you're in the top League.
I like the Scottish Leagues because of the lack of money, the shocking reputations of the Teams (no-one decent will sign) and the promotion spot for a single Team into the SPL.
I agree about the depth on the English leagues - I'm obviously not the only one who relishes getting teams into the top league more than just trying to win the same league every year . I just worry it isn't as hard as it should be based on some of the reports we've seen.
Agreeing with Brazil being extremely difficult. There're 128 third division teams, of which 32 get relegated and 32 enter the playoffs. Of the 32 in the playoffs only 2 get promoted. It is freaking nutty. (There're is not a word but should be).
I don't know the Brazilian leagues system but with 32 teams getting relegated and only 2 gaining promotion it sounds like leagues are going to be shrinking pretty damn quickly!
Actually in Brazil there are no leagues below the 3rd divisions - as far as i understand. Everything is invitation based there according to the whims of the Brazilian FA.
