I really enjoyed the scrap to get out of the 2nd div. It's tough and the seasons are short. 1st div is fairly straightforward but Prem is hard again if you're at a small club. The gap is huge between bottom-feeders (6,000 capacity, 6k wage budget) and elite (36,000 capacity, 200k budget) in the same division.

Europe is tricky. Qualifiers and the final are ok but the group stages are played during the off-season.

It's one of the leagues I can't stand. Had a wee spell playing over there, couldn't get anywhere, so I carried on with my main game.

Royal League: Out in the 1st round

The league title is retained pretty easily. There's a decent chance of completing the season unbeaten but we lose concentration after the competition's won and lose the last 3 games. An exciting Champions League run ends in the quarter final with a valiant 3-2 home win over Valencia just not enough to stop us going out on away goals.

I start getting English Premier League job offers in the close season but I'm going to hang on for another season and try to go one better in the CL. A great AMR winter signing and a 17 yr old MC boy wonder from the academy have my midfield looking pukka.

My former club Gefle have the hoodoo over me. They ended my unbeaten run last season and they are the only side to beat me this one.
