Bonus: it turns out AIK won the cup last year so I get to play in Europe after all. Just drawn Real Madrid in the Euro Cup 2nd round

KUTGChampionship winning

Good luck with AIK - looks like you'll need bucket loads of it against Madrid.

Just starting 2010 in my Swedish save so I've got some way to go to catch you up.

Erm. We beat them 5-0 at home and drew 0-0 at the Bernebeu. Although that sounds like bragging I feel a bit nonplussed by the whole thing - it's not very realistic and I don't feel that the game is maintaining the difficulty level once you get to the higher leagues. Also AIK seem to be well overpowered for the Swedish Prem.

AIK - 2016/2017 - Swedish Premier Div

P26 W21 D3 L2 F51 A16 P66 - Pos 1st
Swedish Cup: Out in 4th rnd
Euro Cup: Lost to Newcastle in QF
Royal League: Champions \o/

Hmm. Regretting that jump already. AIK have far too much money and a great squad already. Not much for me to do. I'll try to win a couple of championships to get my reputation up then angle for a move to the English Premiership.

At least I'll have a good tilt at the Champions League next season.

Good luck with the European conquest, that's usually the real challenge when you manage a high-profile club at a low-profile country.
