The season is short in the regional leagues (22 games) and runs from April to September. No need to worry about extreme weather and the players don't get injured or exhausted as much. You can really concentrate on tactics.

Turnover of managers seems to be very low - my rep is looking decent enough but I don't get job offers. Chairmen are obviously very laid back over here.

I had a couple of attempts in the Eng Conf but couldn't get to grips with it at all. Frank sent me to Uruguay last time but I bombed so badly that I retired myself in the name of realism.

Cheers The first thing I've noticed is the cash. £100k up front for TV money will keep me going all season regardless of gate takings. No wonder it's a bitch to jump from regional to Div 1.

For my first televised game I'll get a cup of Bovril and a pie and watch the full match on normal speed.

Not true. the few times i've played in Sweden, i've been relegated. It's a tough bastard if you pick the worst teams.

I, too, find eng conf very difficult (probably because I'm *****, and ***** teams don't need ***** managers). I might give sweden a go. The chairmen are probably so laid back because of the swedish beauties around... :cool: :thup:
