I take up Hull job from Elgin and they tell me how many funds they will allocate for transfers and wages, it looks good and I accept. What happens, half the money they said I would have available has already been spent by the previous manager. Hardly realistic is it?

I just accept a transfer offer from Toronto FC, fancied trying out the MLS, 27k p/w on wages and 4.5 million on transfers. I take the job, no transfer money. So now I am stuck with a team with a bunch of over 30s that no one wants. :thdn:

Had a similar problem when I took the Portsmouth job from Rangers.

They offered me $25 million transfer fund, I delay because I'm hoping to land the Lyon job,but Lyon hire some one else.

Portsmouth come back,this time offering $47 million, great,so I accept.

What happens? The extra $22 million appears to have come from a player sale for that amount, but I don't see a penny of it and only get the original $25 million

The chairman tricked you into signing your contract. Sounds pretty realistic to me. You always ahve the choice to resign if you feel cheated, although if you did that IRL, your chairman would drag your arse in court for breaking an arrangement you had agreed upon in print. His commitment was only in words.
