Well i for one thought that morale played too large an influence prepatch...now I think the balance is better. At least my matches are now more interesting. FM2007 was waaaaaaay too easy in terms of morale.

Abit to reliant on morale perhaps? I never seemed to be about to recover from a rough patch having lost 7 games in a row

I haven't won a game in 6 and I;m still in the hunt for the title...the challenge is not to have a knee-jerk reaction, but to consolidate and make sure you don't concede goals, and then come back to winning aways. That run snapped a 22 game undefeated streak....so I guess it was due

My brother plays the game using 2 variations of 4-2-3-1 and rule both domestic and European competitions , some basic understanding of the game ( which we all have since we do watch football in tv or in stadiums ) in order to give correct player instructions and thats all you need.
Tactics are and should be important and of course buying the players you need to have your job done.
