With a team that someone else build and moulded.
When he starts bringing in his own players I bet it goes wrong.

| what you just said means that players mean more than tactics
you will then say "they already have tactics"
in fm, you can't use a preset tactic for every match, you'll lose. thanks for being on our side ackter, i knew somewhere you had it in you.

Used same tatics in 06,07 and 08 now,and it still works. That is, its about what you expect off it. Diablo days are luckily gone,rip.

| This is just not correct, its more or less the same engine for three years now. And as i said,the same tatics pretty much work.
You can choose to analyze whatever you want, but you dont have to.And you certainly dont have to analyze something to get a result.
And if you really stuck, go visit the tactics forums maybe?.

I think the game has always been reliant on tactics, theres just no super tactics anymore.
All you have to do is be a bit astute and fit your formation around your current squad.
Good wingers = sliders set to "wide". Great central midfielders = play narrow. a bit of common sense and a bit of trial and error and don't be afraid to tinker against different calibre of teams.
