I have two problems about players becoming unhappy
1. Celsinho, a regular starter, is complaining there is too much competition for a first team place, why?
2. Corluka, who cant get a WP, is complaining that he isnt playing enough, when its unavoidable!

The game will recognize him in his natural position, so, if you have several players in this position ( several strikers for example) he will still complain even if you play him AM as he can not recognize that he is not a striker in your plans. (Something which is obvious in scouting, where, if you want to see is a versatile player is worth purchasing, instead gets compared to a position you have no intention of playing him in.

With Corluka you will need to loan him to your work permit feeder club, which, depending on the country it is based, will contribute to the likeliness of him achieving the work permit.
Ive experienced loads of problems with the "too much competition" ****..or well not loads.
At first with Arsenal (I hadnt even made any signings, just moved denilson from reserves to senior squad) Denilson becomes unhappy during pre-season because of too much competition, I play him regularly all season, but he stays unhappy yet his morale is superb throughout the season. Same thing second season and he remains unhappy, so I sold him for £15m as he only had a year left on his contract and REFUSED to sign it because he was unhappy with the competition...(which whoever was non existent as I had sold + moved to reserves + loaned out a bunch of other MC's so it was basically just denilson and fabregas in my team who where natural MC's)
A bit later on my save, Sakho becomes old+good enough for first team place, yet my asst manager is whining about the lack of depth in defense so I buy in Dervite, sakho becomes unhappy because of too much competition, I tell him through the media that if he performs well on training I will pick him for first team, he openly apologises to me through media and says we're back on terms, yet he is still unsettled and wont sign a new contract.
wanna know what i do when my players get unsettled or unhappy? i movethem to reserves and make them suffer. reject all offers, and make him waste his talent.
Eventually, it's alright. But since you aren't using them in your first team, isn't it better to sell them, rather than wasting paying for their wages..
