I really dont get it
Why did you disable the most convenient way to watch matches with the patch ?
I HATE the constant change to Overview !!!

Can anyone tell me how to uninstall this annoying 8.0.1 patch ? Do I have to reinstall the game and how do i keep my savegames ?

Ok. I now got rid of the patch through reinstalling
Can anyone from SI tell me why they felt the need to remove a perfectly working feature which is very important to me ??
And will it be enabled again in the next patch ?

It isn't disabled. You probably have the viewing options set to Key Only or Commentary Only.

yes i have set them on key only.
but in the original game it would not change every 2 seconds to the overview screen and back on the pitch wich is VERY annoying. I dont see a reason for this and it cant be changed in the patched version

Before they changed it then it would just show an empty pitch when there were no highlights...which was silly.

well i prefer the empty pitch screen alot to the constant switching to the overview screen.
the switching is much more annoying for me.
but even if you prefer the overview screen you could watch it that way before the patch. so what they did is just taking away one way to watch games which i dont get why they did this

i understand that it is your preference to watch an empty pitch when nothing exciting is happening but, i'm really confused by this, why? what's wrong with selecting something else to watch. it doesn't have to be the overview. mine switches to the player stats for my team. there i can keep an eye on how my players are performing. perhaps, you could switch to match stats, so that you can see how the team is doing. maybe action zones, so that you can see where the play is. maybe latest scores could be your thing, to keep up to date with all that's going on elsewhere. same for live league table. maybe keep an eye on the formations in between highlights, see if the opponents change anything. or if you really want, stare blankly at an empty pitch and know nothing, except the state of the pitch.

ok probably it has something to do with the match speed you use. i use almost max match speed so there is most of the time only 2 seconds an empty pitch before the next key scene. if i watch overview or something else instead of the pitch it changes every 2 seconds and makes for a very anoying viewing

it's not like you have to do anything.

when there's highlights it switches to 2d view. when there isn't it goes back to the previous screen you were on. when there's more highlights it automatically swithces back to 2d view.
it's not like their making you work any more than you would be if you were displaed with a blank pitch and wanting to go and look at your previous screen.

and it doesn't change eevry two seconds either.
