How, oh how, oh how, do you go about making sure a team's finances are secure - without using a cheat editor or something else? Pleeeeeaassseeee?
Ive been managing DCFC for three seasons now. The first one, starting in the prem, we went down with the lowest points total in history (much like real life?)
Second season we romped the Championship, winning the league with games in hand.
Third season we finished 12th in the league following a good start and a good finish in form.
Now, despite not spending lavishly, and often making do with young talents over performing, I find myself with a very unhealthy financial state. This is confusing me, because at the end of last season we seemed to be doing very well and were very much in control of our finances.
What could I be doing wrong? Have you chaps got any tips for keeping the finances in check?
