As strange as it may sound, try a 4-5-1 away from home with the wingers being pushed on. Try a high tempo and have a direct passing style. You'll need your striker to be OK in the air and have a bit of pace and acceleration-14/15 perhaps. It usually works.

If you are at home and theres say 10 minutes left and it is currently a draw, then you could try throwing on a third striker or going all out attack in search for a late goal.
