Hi there. In a follow up to the more general survey i posted, i thought i'd ask one specficially about success or lack of it with various formations. So:

-What formation are you using?

-Have you had relative succeleague success?

-Cup success?

-Do you "dominate" games: this used to be easier to tell with just the text: if you saw more blue than red (for example) then you knew you were. In any case- is your general feeling that you are in control of games and going to certainly win? Or not?

-Do you create chances?

-Do you create good chances?

-How many League goals do you concede on average

- How many do you score?

-What problems have you encountered/where do other sides expose you?

-

- Do you use super-youngsters like aaritolo/breno etc.

-Have you had success with it without making any signigs? Ie. with an initial, average squad?

-Please rate your top three successful formations from best to worst:

-Please rate the formations you have tried and failed miserably with from most frustration to second most frustrating:

-What problems did you have with these formations: ie. Scoring, defending, ratings, so on.

- and finally: if you play/coach football; Are you able to play the/a formation you would play in real life?

4-4-2 with one winger and one high teamwork/defensive player on the wing

-Have you had relative succeleague success?

3-5-2 Wingbacks: Unable to title challenge with an vastly improved on chelsea squad- very disappointing
352- as above
3-4-1-2: slightly better, still unable to find consistency
4-2-2 one winger: Home consistency, away terrible.
4-2-3-1: massive success with default team + individual settings
4-3-2-1: slightly less success but still significant.
-Cup success?

I always have considerably more shots/chances than my opposition but with some formations (352's especially) i just don't feel in control of the games and that is what i feel dictates whether the chances go in or not- not the quality of the chances/players themselves.

I have no problem with the shots-goal ratio when playing 4231.

352 wingbacks: very few: under 19 with chelsea.

- How many do you score?
very few.

-What problems have you encountered/where do other sides expose you?
Extreme troubles with scoring despite hyper attacking tactics with the 352 wingbacks.

- Do you use super-youngsters like aaritolo/breno etc.
No

-Have you had success with it without making any signigs? Ie. with an initial, average squad?
Only with 4321

scoring goals with the 352,
and with the 442- wherever i put forward runs i felt like the game attacked me. I usually play 4 at the back with one full back 8/20 mentality and mixed forward runs- i've always done this and i keep the other full back very defensive. In this version i feel like every highlight against me comes from a player getting behind my idiotic left full back.

big difference between home and away.

Usually I do. I like high pressing formations

Have had problems with high line/pressing.

- and finally: if you play/coach football; Are you able to play the/a formation you would play in real life?

I was able to play one formation i would consider in reality to be acceptable in 07- not anymore. Too eratic difference home and away and i just don't think it represents reality.

I use 3-5-2 attacking! This kills teams. I was Arsenal and had Man Utd @ Old Trafford, I thumped them 6-1!! I have used it ever since. Computer finds it hard to break down the midfield!

this response is useless! Do you press, have you had consistency throughout the league etc.
